AASGON and GSEF Congratulate Global South Media Leader as India and Djibouti Deepen Cooperation through Cinema, Culture and Creative Industries
NEW DELHI, INDIA — Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios, the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), and the Global South Media Association, has been nominated as Chair of the Indo–Djibouti Film and Cultural Forum
under the aegis of ICMEI.
The certificate of appointment was formally presented by H.E. Isse Abdillahi Assoweh,Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti to India, during a special ceremony in New Delhi.
The appointment is expected to open a new chapter in India–Djibouti cultural diplomacy,creating opportunities for collaboration in film, media, arts, education, tourism and the wider creative economy.Dr. Marwah, an internationally recognised pioneer in cinema, media and education,welcomed the appointment, saying:
“I am deeply honoured to have been nominated as the Chair of the Indo–Djibouti Film and Cultural Forum. This prestigious responsibility
further strengthens our commitment to fostering closer ties between India and the Republic of Djibouti through the powerful mediums of cinema, media, art, culture, education, and tourism.”
He said the Forum would provide opportunities for filmmakers, artists, media professionals,educators, students and cultural institutions from both countries to collaborate, exchange ideas and develop joint initiatives.Ambassador Isse Abdillahi Assoweh congratulated Dr. Marwah and expressed confidence that his extensive experience would provide a strong platform for advancing bilateral
cooperation.

Abdul Dewale Mohammed, Founder and Group Executive President of the Africa Asia Scholars Global Network (AASGON) and Global South Economic Forum (GSEF), and Architect of the Global South Integrated Development Framework (GS-IDF) and Global South Sustainable Development Council (GSSDC), warmly congratulated Dr. Marwah.
