Doha, 26 January 2023 OIC Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian, Social and Cultural Affairs, Ambassador Tarig Ali Bakhiet, today 26 January 2023, met H.E.  Mr Khalifa Bin Jasim Al-Kawari, Director-General of Qatar Fund for Development at the Fund’s headquarters in Doha. Ambassador Bakhiet applauded the humanitarian support the State of Qatar gives to many OIC Member States through the Fund. The meeting discussed ways towards potential cooperation between the OIC and the Fund to support member states affected by humanitarian disasters.
