VWA Expresses Solidarity with Flood Victims Across Africa

Victims Watch Africa (VWA) has extended  its deepest sympathies and unwavering solidarity to all individuals, families, and communities affected by the devastating floods impacting several countries across Africa.

We are deeply,the organisation said, saddened by the loss of lives, the destruction of homes and livelihoods, and the displacement of thousands of people. During this difficult time, it intimated, our thoughts and prayers are with every victim, their families, emergency responders, volunteers, and all organizations working tirelessly to provide relief and restore hope.

These were contained in a Press Release signed in Accra,Wednesday,by Walter Mawuli Gli,Founder,Teria Foundation,the host organisation for VWA in Ghana.

Floods remind us,the release noted, of the urgent need for stronger disaster preparedness, climate resilience, and coordinated humanitarian action across the African continent. We call on governments, humanitarian organizations, the private sector, development partners, and compassionate individuals to unite in supporting affected communities with emergency relief, recovery assistance, and long-term resilience measures.

Victims Watch Africa,it said, reaffirms its commitment to advocating for the rights, dignity, protection,and well-being of all victims of disasters and humanitarian crises across Africa. We will continue to raise awareness, promote partnerships, and support initiatives that bring hope and lasting solutions to vulnerable communities.

“To every person affected, please know that you are not alone. Africa stands with you, and together we will rebuild stronger and create more resilient communities” it added.
