….As a Unified Global South Development Architecture rises
On the occasion of the UN Day for South-South cooperation, Mohammed (ADM) Founder & Group Executive President, AASGON & GSEF Architect, GS‑IDF & GSSDC Chair, GS‑IDF Custodianship Council has noted that, South‑South Cooperation has entered a new era according to an official statement issued in London, over the weekend.
The BRICS Indore Declaration demonstrates, that, he noted, the Global South is ready to lead with its own institutional voice, its own development architecture, and its own sovereign agenda.
“The GS‑IDF provides the unified structure the Global South has waited decades for — one that aligns with BRICS priorities, strengthens multilateral cooperation, and empowers nations to build resilient, innovative and sustainable futures.”
ADM extended his appreciation to,Hon. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India Hon. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Union Minister of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare of India for advancing BRICS cooperation and strengthening the collective agency of the Global South.
ADM also on behalf of AASGON and GSEF, extended a global invitation to BRICS Ministers UN agencies DFIs Regional blocs, Academia Private sector leaders Diaspora institutions, Civil society organizations to participate in a GSDF High‑Level Virtual World Press Conference on the 25 September 2026 and GSM‑FACC Summit, Awards in October 2026.
The GSM-FACC Summit is being hosted by the World Trade Centre, Mumbai under the theme: “Advancing Agriculture with Responsible and Resilient Solutions for Food Security, Shared Prosperity and Sustainable Development.”

On the United Nations Day for South‑South Cooperation, marking the adoption of the 1978 Buenos Aires Plan of Action (BAPA), AASGON and GSEF announced the accelerating transformation of South‑South Cooperation and the emergence of a unified Global South Development Architecture.
This year’s observance follows the landmark outcomes of the 16th BRICS Agriculture Ministers’ Meeting in Indore and the adoption of the Indore Declaration, reaffirming the centrality of resilience, innovation, cooperation, and sustainability across the Global South.
BRICS Alignment with GS‑IDF
The meeting highlighted the alignment between BRICS priorities and the emerging Global South Integrated Development Framework (GS‑IDF) — the first sovereign, constitutionally governed institutional architecture for Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean, and SIDS.
